ABOUT ME

Starting over
doesn’t intimidate me.

I’m Gabriel Velez. I care about learning, doing the work well and finding ways to contribute. That has stayed with me through every chapter.

A new country. Many ways to learn.

Since arriving in the United States, I have worked as an Uber and Lyft driver, a gardener and a dog walker. Starting over has never been a reason to stand still. Each experience has taught me something about people, service and work.

I have worked in stock operations for about a year and a half. I have grown into a Stock Manager role, with recognition for the quality of my work, organization, management skills and autonomy.

Today I enjoy doing things I once doubted I could handle. That confidence also shapes how I explore ideas and build solutions.

One organization. Many challenges.

My financial-services career spanned development, business analysis, and product and project leadership.

I worked across front, middle and back office, customer experience, processes, integrations and new products. Staying gave me the opportunity to see the consequences of decisions and support solutions beyond their launch.

What I’m building now.

I am building a logistics platform with assistance from AI agents. I define the product, design the solution, develop, deploy and support its transition into operations.

I also help run Artesano Coffee Co. and manage a coffee farm in Colombia. These experiences bring together technology, operations, finances and business decisions.

What challenge
are you working on?

If your team needs to understand a problem, weigh alternatives or turn an initiative into reality, I’d like to hear the context.
